How do I enroll in Fidelity MyVoice®?
As a Fidelity customer, the next time you call, a representative will offer to enroll you. To enroll, you just need to give Fidelity consent to create your unique voice print.

What is a voice print?
A voice print is a set of characteristics associated with your unique voice pattern. This pattern is saved and will be used to verify your identity when you call us.

Does enrolling in Fidelity MyVoice® cost anything?
No, it's a service we offer at no charge.

Is Fidelity MyVoice® secure?
Yes, your voice print is secure. Fidelity MyVoice uses an encrypted digital representation of your voice, not a recording, which works only with our system. Your voice print cannot be duplicated or used elsewhere. Voice print verification is a form of biometric authentication that provides a very strong level of security.

To enroll in Fidelity MyVoice®, will I need a specific phrase prepared?
No, Fidelity MyVoice is based on natural conversation, so there's no need for a password or security phrase. You'll need to have a brief conversation with a Fidelity representative, to enroll.

Will Fidelity MyVoice® work if, in the future, my voice sounds a bit different?
Yes, Fidelity MyVoice will work if your voice sounds slightly different, owing to a cold, allergies, sore throat, or different phone devices. If there are extreme changes to your voice, we'll verify your identity by asking you security questions.

What if my voice changes over time?
When you call and talk to us, Fidelity MyVoice® will analyze and adjust your voice print in our secure systems over time.

What if I sound a lot like someone else in my family? Is my voice print truly unique?
Just like your fingerprint, your voice print is uniquely yours.

Will Fidelity MyVoice® work if I'm calling from someplace noisy or if the phone connection is poor?
If excessive background noise interferes with your verification, we'll verify your identity using other secure methods.

What happens if my voice print is not recognized?
If, for any reason, we're unable to verify your identity through your voice print, we'll verify your identity using other secure methods.

Can my voice print be stolen?
No, your voice print is secure. We use a digital representation of your voice, not a recording, which works only with our system.

How many voice prints can be on my account?
Each account owner may have one voice print that is linked to their individual account profile: for example, if you have a joint account, each owner will have his or her own voice print.

Can I use Fidelity MyVoice® if I have more than one account with Fidelity?
Yes, Fidelity MyVoice is deployed to all of our phone representatives and you will be able to use it for all of your accounts, including accounts such as an annuity or 401(k).

Can I set up Fidelity MyVoice® when I'm in a Fidelity Investor Center?
No, not at this time. You can only enroll in Fidelity MyVoice over the phone.

Can I use Fidelity MyVoice® on behalf of someone for whom I am a caregiver or hold power of attorney?
If you are an authorized person on an account, you can enroll in Fidelity MyVoice using your own unique profile.

What if I don't want to use Fidelity MyVoice® anymore?
Call us at any time and let us know what you'd like to do. Your Fidelity MyVoice information is controlled and stored with the utmost sensitivity and security.
