02:36 PM EDT, 04/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The New York Fed's inflation expectations survey for March showed a sharp increase in price appreciation over the next year to 3.6% from 3.1%, but no change to expectations over the next three years and a slowdown in price growth expected over the five-year horizon.

Commodity price growth expectations rose for food, medical care, rent and gold but slowed for gas and college education, as well as for home prices.
