GE Aerospace secures $5 billion U.S. Air Force contract

The contract supports the U.S. government's foreign military sales program for F110-GE-129 engines, which power F-15 and F-16 fighter aircraft, the company said.
Under an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, GE will deliver an unspecified number of F110 engines over a fixed period.
