Meta, TJX, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing And A Health Care Stock: CNBC's 'Final Trades'

On CNBC's “Halftime Report Final Trades,” Kevin Simpson of Capital Wealth Planning said The TJX Companies, Inc. ( TJX ) is a standout name in a tough retail environment. It has solid earnings, free cash flow and great balance sheet, he added.

Supporting his view, Citigroup analyst Paul Lejuez, on April 3, upgraded TJX Companies ( TJX ) from Neutral to Buy and raised the price target from $128 to $140.

Brenda Vingiello of Sand Hill Global Advisors said Meta Platforms, Inc. ( META ) will be a winner in the overall advertising space.

On Friday, UBS analyst Lloyd Walmsley maintained Meta Platforms ( META ) with a Buy rating and lowered the price target from $786 to $650.

Stephen Weiss of Short Hills Capital Partners picked Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited ( TSM ) .

President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he would reveal the tariff rate on imported semiconductors in the coming week, suggesting that excluding smartphones and computers from reciprocal tariffs in China might be temporary.

Jim Lebenthal of Cerity Partners named AbbVie Inc. ( ABBV ) his final trade.

Lending support to his choice, Morgan Stanley analyst Terence Flynn maintained AbbVie ( ABBV ) with an Overweight rating on April 9 and raised the price target from $239 to $241.
