05:56 PM EDT, 04/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) iPhone sales increased over the weekend amid customer concerns that new US tariffs on imports from China will send retail prices soaring, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing workers at Apple ( AAPL ) stores.

The company's retail stores had higher weekend sales than in prior years in several major markets, Bloomberg said, citing a person with knowledge of the matter.

Apple ( AAPL ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
