05:28 AM EDT, 04/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- (Updates with Gerresheimer's response in the fifth paragraph.)

KKR (KKR) has withdrawn from a private equity consortium exploring a potential acquisition of Gerresheimer, Bloomberg News reported Thursday, citing sources familiar with the matter.

The firm had partnered with Warburg Pincus for a potential deal, but Warburg is continuing discussions to see if an agreement can be reached.

Talks remain ongoing, though there is no certainty they will lead to a transaction, according to the media outlet.

KKR and Warburg Pincus did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.

Gerresheimer declined to comment.
