02:02 PM EDT, 03/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- A federal district court judge in New Jersey ordered Johnson & Johnson's ( JNJ ) Janssen Products unit on Friday to pay the US government $1.64 billion in damages and civil penalties after a jury found the unit liable for "unlawfully promoting" two HIV/AIDS drugs last year.

Johnson & Johnson ( JNJ ) did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
