12:10 PM EDT, 03/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The Federal Reserve, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency said Friday they plan to rescind the Community Reinvestment Act final rule issued in October 2023 due to pending litigation.

The agencies said they intend to reinstate the CRA framework that existed before the 2023 final rule and work collectively to promote a consistent regulatory approach to CRA implementation.
