Market Chatter: Morgan Stanley Leads Financing of Clearlake's Bid to Take Dun & Bradstreet Private

02:37 PM EDT, 03/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Morgan Stanley ( MS ) is leading the financing of Clearlake Capital Group's multi-billion dollar deal to take Dun & Bradstreet ( DNB ) private, Bloomberg reported Monday citing people familiar with the matter.

Dun & Bradstreet ( DNB ) agreed to be acquired by Clearlake Capital Group in a deal with a $7.7 billion transaction value that includes debt, according to a statement Monday. The private equity firm said it will utilize a mix of equity and debt financing for the acquisition.

Clearlake is looking to finance the purchase with more than $6 billion in debt financing, with Morgan Stanley ( MS ) leading the pack, according to Bloomberg.

The report cautioned that the structure of the debt is still being discussed and the total amount could change.

Morgan Stanley ( MS ) and Clearlake Capital Group did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
