02:37 PM EDT, 03/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- 23andMe (ME) filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection to help facilitate a potential sale, while Anne Wojcicki resigned as chief executive, less than a month after she attempted to acquire the genetic testing firm.

Shares slumped 57%, with intraday trading volume of over 5.5 million against a daily average of about 292,000.

TransCode Therapeutics ( RNAZ ) said Sunday it agreed to sell 10.25 million shares and warrants to buy up to 10.25 million shares at $0.98 per share and warrant to raise some $10 million.

Shares sank 38% as intraday trading volume rose to over 15.5 million from a daily average of about 6.36 million.

Wag! Group ( PET ) said Monday its board is advancing a review of "strategic alternatives to identify opportunities to maximize value for shareholders, including potential investments, strategic partnerships, sale, merger, or other strategic transactions involving the company or its assets."

Shares slid 22% as intraday trading volume rose to over 1.3 million from a daily average of about 665,000.
