March S&P Global US Flash Manufacturing Indicates Contraction, Services Measures Indicates Expansion
The index indicates contraction, which is in line with the Empire State reading released earlier but in contrast with the Philadelphia Fed manufacturing reading that suggested expansion.
The index for services conditions rose to a three-month high reading of 54.3 in March from 51.0 in February, compared with expectations for no change.
