12:56 PM EDT, 03/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) is moving its Vision Products Group chief Mike Rockwell to take charge of the Siri digital assistant after CEO Tim Cook lost confidence in the ability in AI head John Giannandrea to execute on product development, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing sources familiar with the situation.

Rockwell will report to software engineering executive Craig Federighi. Giannandrea will remain at the company, according to the report.

Apple ( AAPL ) will announce the changes to employees this week, the news outlet said.
