Blackstone (BX) is exploring a small minority stake in TikTok's US operations, Reuters reported late Friday, citing two unnamed people familiar with the matter.
The company is in talks to join TikTok parent ByteDance's current non-Chinese shareholders, led by
US President
"We have a lot of potential buyers," Trump told reporters. "I'd like to see TikTok remain alive."
General Atlantic declined MT Newswires' request for comment, while Blackstone, TikTok, and Susquehanna did not respond.
BX shares were down 1.2% in recent Monday trading.
