First Mining Gold Receives Final US$5 Million Payment from First Majestic in Connection with Springpole Gold Project

07:53 AM EDT, 03/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- First Mining Gold ( FFMGF ) on Friday said it received the final payment of US$5 million from First Majestic Silver ( AG ) in connection with the silver stream that First Majestic has over First Mining's Springpole Gold Project located in northwestern Ontario.

First Mining, Gold Canyon Resources and First Majestic recently signed an amending agreement to the Silver Purchase Agreement so that the third payment would be for US$5 million in cash and would be payable on or before March 31.

Shares of the company closed up 1.9% to $0.1375 on Thursday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
