Starship to depart for Mars end of next year, Musk says

March 15 (Reuters) - SpaceX founder Elon Musk said on Friday that Starship will depart for Mars at the end of next year, carrying Tesla humanoid bot Optimus.

If those landings go well, then human landings may start as soon as 2029, although 2031 is more likely, Musk added in post on X. (Reporting by Rhea Rose Abraham in Bengaluru; Editing by Jacqueline Wong)
