Fidelity Wealth Advisor Solutions®

While you'll enjoy a separate relationship with the independent investment advisor firm to which you're referred through the Wealth Advisor Solutions® program, it’s important to think of this relationship as something that complements your relationship with your Fidelity advisor.

As part of our ongoing collaboration, we may identify a specific need you have that either can't be met by Fidelity or that can be met in a different way through an independent investment advisor firm.

After careful discussion of your preferences, your Fidelity advisor will use the Wealth Advisor Solutions® Tool to refer at least 2 independent investment advisor firms that provide services designed to meet your unique needs. Whether it's a specific area of expertise or a geographic location, we'll make every effort to provide options that match your criteria.

If you have questions about what you heard in your first meeting or want to bounce ideas off us, we're happy to help you evaluate your options. Our goal is to help you feel like you're making the right decision.

If our referrals interest you, we can make an introduction on your behalf and can attend this first meeting with you at your request. Of course, these meetings come with no obligations or strings attached.

Once you engage in a relationship with an independent investment advisor firm through the Wealth Advisor Solutions® program, this relationship will remain separate from your relationship with Fidelity.

Once your relationship with your new independent investment advisor firm has been established, it's helpful to understand who will do what, and how their role will differ from the role your Fidelity advisor plays.

Your ongoing Fidelity relationship

Your Fidelity advisor will continue to provide investment recommendations, but only for those assets that Fidelity is managing.

While you may keep your Fidelity advisor up to date on how any outside assets are being managed, we won't provide guidance on assets managed by the independent investment advisor firm you're working with through the Wealth Advisor Solutions program. We will however, to the extent we can, consider those as part of your financial plan.

If you choose, you can have any assets managed by your independent investment advisor firm custodied at Fidelity. This can help you maintain visibility into your full financial picture.
