A Series of Brokerage Innovations
This free ETF trade offer represents the latest in a series of product and service innovations that Fidelity has made available to customers over the past few months. In October, the firm introduced expanded international trading capabilities in 12 countries and eight currencies for eligible customers; in November, a new online Stock Research Center was launched to help investors identify trading and investment ideas; and in August, the firm rolled out a new fixed-income guidance program.
Fidelity, which offers more than 10,000 funds from over 460 fund families, also has a long history of price innovations including low online commissions, free online trades for U.S. Treasuries, and more than 1,500 no-load, no-transaction-fee funds5.
